Greetings My Brothers,

It is a humbling experience to greet you, as the newly elected Basileus of Iota Chapter. I am thankful for this opportunity to serve and lead Iota in this, Omega Psi Phi’s Centennial year. The vision from the Chair is to return to the basic foundation that has set Iota Chapter apart, for so many years. The reverence for my predecessors is genuine and the platform of “Bridging the Past with the Present” will be emphasized. The Chair welcomes the faithful support of Iota's newly elected Executive Counsel (Bro. Leonard Langston, Jr. – Vice Basileus, Bro. James Williams – Keeper of Records and Seal, Bro. Joe Jackson – Keeper of Finance, Bro. Clayton Harris III - Chapter Counselor, Bro. Rich Keller - Chapter Chaplain and Bro. Andre Tillman - Keeper of Peace). 

Iota Chapter will focus primarily on achieving Omega Psi Phi's Nationally Mandated Programs. Iota's accolades regarding the area of Social Action exceed Omega's Local and District level. Iota is renowned for its active participation in various community projects and these efforts will continue. Iota's Body has been charged with the task of initiating innovative progress. Each member is expected to "lend a helping hand," thereby, not relying on sole members "to do the heavy lifting.”

This Chair has apprised the Body that the only constant is change and all must be prepared for such. Every member of Iota will be held to a higher standard. With Omega's Cardinal Principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift being adhered to, Iota's Body has further been charged with becoming more involved and supporting the overall ideals of the Fraternity. The listed tenets, will further impact Iota Chapter.
