Dear Friend,
It’s time again to finalize planning for another fabulous New Year’s Eve celebration to benefit one of Chicago’s most dynamic non-profit organizations, the Friendship Foundation for Education and Community Development. As we have in the past, our dinner committee has made arrangements for an outstanding lineup of entertainment to compliment an elegant evening of dinner, dancing, bottomless cocktails and enjoyment – all for a great cause.
The Friendship Foundation of Illinois was established in 2002 to support the educational and community development vision shared by many members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in the Chicago metropolitan area. The Foundation has a goal to raise money for and award scholarships to deserving students entering institutions of higher learning or continuing their education. The Foundation also seeks to promote community development in historically underserved communities in the state.
With that in mind, the Foundation is seeking your help in its 5th Annual Friendship Gala on New Year’s Eve, Monday, December 31, 2007 at the Marriott Chicago Midway 6500 South Cicero in Burbank, Illinois.
